When he became too old for Junior Sedans, Lines took up Street Stock racing and within two seasons he won the Australian Title and the following year finished in second place, and other highlights in the Street Stocks are numerous State Title victories.

Towards the end of the 2004/05 Lines made the switch to Sprintcars where he purchased the ex Camden Neon Signs J&J powered by a Maxwill Race Engines powerplant, and over the next two seasons he showed glimpses of talent and speed.

Half way through the 2006/07 season Lines was offered the ride for the Dave Challons owned Camden Neon Signs team, and impressed immediately, and joined the team on a full-time basis the following season.

It is without a doubt Lines is one of the emerging talents with Australian Sprintcar racing, and his results include winning the South Australian State Title, podium finishers and quick times in World Series Sprintcar (WSS) competition, and along with numerous other feature race wins and impressive performances.

With the aim of travelling over the America in the upcoming years, Lines is looking to travel over there to compete in the not too distant future, but rest assure, he will remain doing all his regular shows here in Australia.
